El TRABAJO DE LOS ORGANISMOS REGIONALES EN LA MANTENCIÓN DE LA PAZ Y SEGURIDAD INTERNACIONALES

Abstract
El presente artículo expone los principales alcances de la participación de organismos regionales en el mantenimiento de la paz y seguridad internacionales, abordando particularmente el trabajo de la Unión Europea y la Unión Africana en dicho ámbito.
Mediante el uso de una metodología de tipo descriptiva y revisión de la literatura existente, se introducen el contexto y aspectos fundamentales del tema, exponiendo los desafíos presentes en relación a los casos estudiados y esbozando algunas reflexiones sobre ello.
